Privacy Policy

Your data, explained clearly.

Effective 28 July 2026 · Version 1.1

This notice explains what Explore Everything uses, why it is needed, and the choices available to you.

Information we use

We use account details such as email and profile information; saved places, reviews, passport visits, achievements and adventures; planner choices; optional device location; and technical security information needed to operate the service.

Why we use it

Information is used to provide and secure accounts, maps, place discovery, saved content, weather and requested adventures; prevent abuse; provide support; and meet legal duties. Legal bases include providing the requested service, legitimate interests in security and operation, consent for optional location, and legal obligations.

Location and planner data

Current location is used only with device permission. A chosen area can be used instead. Location supports nearby places, weather and planner candidates. Saved adventures may contain place coordinates and the selected area. Permission can be changed in device settings.

Service providers

Supabase provides authentication, database and server functions. OpenStreetMap and Nominatim support map and area search data. Open-Meteo provides weather. Opening external maps or websites sends information to that external provider under its own policy. No private service-role credential is stored in Flutter.

Sharing and international processing

We do not sell personal information. Information is shared only with providers needed to run the app, when a user opens an external service, or when law requires it. Provider locations and transfer safeguards must be confirmed before release.

Retention and security

Account data is retained while an account is active and deleted when account deletion completes, subject to short-lived backups, security records and legal retention duties. Access controls, row-level database security and server-side secrets help protect information, but no system is perfectly secure.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability, and withdraw consent where consent applies. UK users may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Account deletion is available in Profile.

Children and updates

The service is not intended for children to create accounts without appropriate adult permission. This policy may change when features or providers change; material changes should be shown clearly and the effective date updated.
